This facility is a Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) Deemed Facility. It receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health related claims, including medical/dental/behavioral health malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

Visitor Information

The number of visitors allowed per patient will vary depending on the physician’s orders. Please check with the nurse’s station for more details. Children are welcome as allowed by the physician.

Courtney Witulski, FNP-BC practices family medicine. She studied at Alpena Community College and graduated from Spring Arbor University and Frontier Nursing University with progressive degrees, earning a Master’s of Science in Nursing. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners.

Hasan Basheera, MD practices gynecology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Kilpawk Medical College in 1984.

Sarah Stevens, PA-C practices family medicine. She earned her Bachelors of Health Science from Grand Valley State University and a Masters of Health Science from Central Michigan University. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and has interests in women’s health and pediatrics.

David Westphal, MD-MPH graduated from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2021 with his Bachelors of Medical Technology and Human Biology, Master of Public Health and Doctor of Medicine degrees. He is a board certified Family Medicine provider with interests in office procedures and pediatrics.

Rhianna Compton, LMSW is a Behavioral Health Therapist who has earned her Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University. She is trained in EMDR, TF-CBT and hypnotherapy. She is a member of the American Counseling Association.
